Rooibos Ltd is a company with a history of processing and marketing Rooibos for more than 60 years. Since it was formally established in 1954, it has become the market leader and preferred supplier of Rooibos to the local and international tea industry. The Rooibos Ltd shop now offers a wide range of Rooibos tea and Rooibos related food and cosmetic products for sale direct to the public - online and at their factory in Clanwilliam.

I don't have a credit card can I still buy from the Rooibos Ltd shop?

We do accept payment by direct deposit, so you don't need a credit card. The Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) method enables you to place an order and then transfer the money into our bank account. Once you've placed your order, select the direct deposit option and you will get all the information that you need to make the payment.
You don't need to fax the deposit slip - just specify your order number as a reference when making the deposit and we will assign the money to your order as soon as it appears on our statement. This usually takes a day or two, and you will receive an automated email confirmation once we have it. Where we do not receive payment within 2 business days the order will be cancelled.

Where can I fax (or email) my proof of payment of direct deposits?

You don't need to fax or email this to us. Provided that you put your order number as a reference on the deposit/transfer, we will automatically assign the deposit to your order. If you forget to put the correct reference on the deposit, please email the proof of payment to sales@rooibosltd.co.za or fax it to 027 482 1844.

Do you deliver to other countries?

No. At the moment, we only deliver within the borders of South Africa.

Can I check orders that I placed a long time ago?

Yes you can access any order that you've ever placed using your order history report. After logging in, you will be redirected to your My Accounts page. On this page there will be navigation buttons to access your Orders. Orders are displayed latest first.

How do I get an invoice for my order?

There are two options for obtaining your invoice. Firstly, your invoice will be attached in Adobe PDF format to an e-mail directly after placing your order. Secondly, on your Orders page, when viewing your order, an option to download an invoice in Adobe PDF format will be available.

I need to get my invoice made out to my company - how do I do that?

At registration, provision is made to capture a company name and a VAT number. If these fields are not supplied, and you have already placed an order, please follow these steps to correct billing details:

  1. Go to the My Account page and then to the Orders page.
  2. View the relevant order, and Cancel order.
  3. Go to the Profile page. Edit the name / surname / billing address line 1 field.
  4. Save Changes.
  5. Select items again to your Cart. Checkout and verify that the billing address displays as needed before clicking on Submit Order.

How do I get my VAT number printed on my invoice?

What happens if the items I ordered are out of stock?

We do our best to keep our stock levels replenished at all times. However, when we do experience stock shortages and your payment has already been made, the following options are available to you:

  • The item may be swopped for another item of the same value.
  • The order for the item may be cancelled and we will refund you in full.
  • The item will be sent to you as soon as stock becomes available.

How long will my order take?

Deliveries are handled by RAM Hand-to-Hand Couriers. Depending on your delivery address in South Africa, your order should be delivered within 5 days, from dispatch from our shop. Read more...

What if I receive the goods damaged?

It's our responsibility to ensure that you receive your order in good condition. If anything is damaged, please contact us within one business day of receiving the order and we will make arrangements to replace the product and return the faulty or damaged item. Please see our Refund and Return Policy.

What if my order gets damaged or lost by the courier?

It's our responsibility to ensure that you receive your order in good condition. If the order gets lost on route to you, we will either refund you fully or create a replacement order for you at our expense.

What if I find that I actually don't want something that I ordered?

You may return most items to us for credit within 14 days of us dispatching the product to you. Please see our Refund and Return Policy.
